Equipping the Saints

  • Ephesians 4 says, "And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God."

Hope

While I hold dearly to my heart all the values, this one is most special to me. Probably because it has presented itself to be the most challenging - not so much the grace part (okay maybe a little) but the truth part. Not everyone wants to hear the truth. There are those for whom you can extend all the grace in the world before the truth and they still receive it much like a smack in the face. When I perceive that this might be the case, I tend to shrink back a little - for a time. It's been under the teachings and examples of the leadership at TLC that I've learned that truth is required no matter how difficult it is to be truthful. Thank you for this post.
